I got my first motorcycle jacket at a brick and mortar Wilson's Leather store and I still have it many years later. I haven't shopped there in ages but recently saw that the site was having a good sale and I took a look. I ended up buying several items at great prices.

My transaction was fast and flawless!

What the Site Sells

The site sells men's and women's leather coats, jackets, accessories, handbags, leather business items, and a few kids items. They also sell a handful of men's leather pants and vests.

Navigation, Shipping, and Returns

The site has a fairly conservative selection of items compared to the brick and mortar stores and they are broken up into categories for easy browsing. You can perform a keyword search and special offers are displayed along the top via a link. Today happens to be 20% everything with free shipping day. You will see different specials depending on when you visit the site.

Photos are good with several views and are zoomable. Items are not modeled on people though and that kind of makes it tough to picture how they might look on me. Descriptions are complete and tell you everything you need to know about the item.

Across the right side, suggestions based on what you're viewing are pictured. I actually found that to be helpful and clicked on some of those suggested items.

Choose your size or color preference if necessary and add to your cart. A little window will pop up to show you what's in the cart and your total.

Checkout involves either inputting your email address and password if you are a returning customer or filling out the usual shipping and billing info if you're a first time shopper.

Finally, you see your shipping cost. Because shipping is based on location and weight, there is no set shipping fee or shipping chart on the site.. I don't like that but you can log in or register before shopping and see your shipping costs as you shop rather than at the end. There are several shipping options to choose from depending on how fast you need your order.

Choose your shipping method and pay with a credit card and you're good to go. Confirmation and shipping emails will follow with shipping being super fast.

Returns are accepted within 90 days at either the site location or any Wilson's Leather retail store. Shipping charges are not refundable.

My Experience

Simply put, I saw, I ordered, I received - fast!

There was a clearance sale going on and items were half off their already low prices so I bought several things, indulging my leather lust. I had no issues at all navigating or adding to my cart. When my shopping spree was over, I went to the checkout. I had a free shipping code so I didn't have to worry about shipping. It would have been quite reasonable though. The code went through just fine and I received a confirmation email immediately after paying with my Visa.

The next day, I received a shipping email. The order was on my doorstep a couple of days later. Everything was intact and packed well with the original tags and price tags on them. They were all wrapped well in plastic and looked exactly as they did on the site.

I'm very happy with the quality of my items and the prices I paid for them. Shipping was very fast and the entire process was painless.

I didn't have to contact customer service because everything went so well but there is a toll free number to call and an email address to write. I have a Wilson's Leather store not too far from me and, if I had to return anything, I would take the items there with my receipt rather than to send them back and pay return shipping.

It's all good! This transaction was exactly what I look for in an online store transaction. Good prices, good quality, coupon codes, good communication, fast shipping, and orders complete and as described.

Conclusion

What can I say? I had a fine experience at Wilsons Leather Online Store. I would shop there again in an instant. 5 stars.
