Terrible Service. In fact, no service at all. I placed an order on May 30, 2004 and received a confirmation e-mail the following day. When the product had not been delivered by June 10th I contacted Vitacost. Their customer service told me that they had voided the order because the product was not in stock. She told me that it was in stock now and I could have it with no shipping charges. Big deal ... I don't have time to reorder before my trip. Go someplace else.

I have placed 7 orders over the past 11 months. The first five were as good as any company I ever ordered from. The past order I placed 13 days ago and it has not shipped. I heard a calamity of lies. Their promised e-mail from a Joe Hyde was a laugh. He did not answer when my item would be shipped and why the delay. I spoke to a Manager named Sal. He probably should be flipping burgers for minimum wage. My order of over $100.00 has still not shipped. On my last ordered they doubled ordered. This company should be watched closely. I will give them one last shot if they offer me something for their delays and either lies or incompetence.

The people at this company are clueless when it comes to customer service. I placed an order with Vitacost.com for four cases of Balance Bars in mid-March. After several weeks (in early May) I called then to ask if they were ever going to ship the order, or should I look elsewhere. The sent an e-mail later that night to say they would look into it and get back to me the next day. The next day they sent an e-mail saying that it was unusual for an item to be backordered for so long (duh). They never sent me a resolution.

In the meantime, I ordered it from elsewhere and they arrived.

I wish I had read epinions.com before placing the order, because several people reported similar experiences. If you have a choice, do not deal with these guys.

I almost gave up on on-line shopping for vitamins until a friend told me about Vitacost. I tried it and for the last six months I have ordered my vitamins from there and have received fast shipping, great service from their knowledgeable phone staff, and the lowest nutritional prices I've seen online. I would recommend at the very least trying them out.

Stay away! Horrible service! 11 days ago a made an order. 4 days ago I've got an e-mail stating it was shipped the day before. Today I've got another one stating it was just shipped. No responses to e-mail questions. There are plenty of other companies online I can order from and I will. I rather pay a buck more and receive the much needed items on time. Forget Vitacost, not worth it.

I am amazed with Vitacost and everything their company offers. I have searched many, many months on different products and have not bought them at these different sites because I just could not deal with the expensive shipping costs. Vitacost has not only provided many wonderful products but their shipping cost is something that I can live with. I know that I have found a company that I will purchase from for the rest of my lifetime.

I ordered on Thursday and didn't expect my order to come in until the following Monday and it arrived on Saturday instead. I was shocked! The prices they have on their products are easy on my pocketbook as well. I know that I will be able to find all the products I desire at one place instead of roaming all over the world.

Thank You Vitacost for being an answer to a very long search!

This site has excellent products, brands and prices. With a wide assortment. This site carries products I just can't find in my area. My order always arrives very quickly, within a few days. Wrapped and packaged well.
I really appreciate the range of unique products, and some very hard to find herbs and vitamins.

I love vitacost.com, I have been an avid user of this company since 1996, I purchase all my supplements and low carb food from there and they have never done me wrong once!
I order there NSI Max formula and I have never felt better in my life, its the best multi on the market by far! I can always count on Dr. Josephs weekly newsletter for the most up to date informations and whenever I have a question someone is there to answer it for me. I have called and email customer service and either way they are kind, fast and educated! Overall this is a fabulous company and I will never order from any other company for my health care needs
