My shopping experience was great and I received the item when expected. However, the item had a slight problem. To avoid any delays we fixed the problem ourselvs and alerted Tool King of the problem. I am supposed to be receiveing something (not sure what) for our troubles. I have yet to receive it but it was only one week ago. I hope they live up to their promise becuse I will definately buy from them again if they do.

very good only one small thing that i should have worked out for myself was that in the UK we use 240volt electric and the charger i got was 110volt with a two pin plug.
i tried to use the tracking and couldn't get it to work.
but i am very please with tool king thank you for your service

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience shooping on-line at Tool King. It did take some time to process the order (2-3days after I had placed the order) but once that was done, it shipped on time. I did notice that the tracking link provided was not always working, but going direct to the ups tracking site helped.
On the whole, on-line shopping with Tool King had far fewer hiccups (the processing time and the broken tracking link) than compared to other on-line shopping experiences that I have had.

My shopping experiance was very good. I really like the way the website keeps a log of all orders and allows you to check status or print out an invoice. I would however like the ability to sort/filter by brand when searching for a tool.

I ordered three router bits from them that I received on 12/15/03. One of the bits they sent me was the wrong one. I have sent four emails to date, 12/27/03, and have heard nothing back from them. They don't have a contact phone number on their site so email is the only way to reach them. I will never shop from them again!!

ToolKing.com advertises free shipping but then adds $6.00 handling charge. This is a deceptive and misleading practice when advertising free shipping. I will not do business with anyone who attempts to deceive.

I needed a portable table saw, considered a remanufactured saw, and a tech support rep recommended ToolKing as a source. I ordered a Makita 2703 10" portable table saw. ToolKing had a great price on the remanufactured (by Makita) saw. The ordering process was easy to follow. One nice feature is the ability to enter your zip code when reviewing a product to get prices on the various shipping options. This is very handy when comparing online purchases, or comparing online buying with a local merchant's price.
A negative review listed here indicated I should check their BBB record. I went to www.bbb.org and the BBB online form allows you to enter a URL to generate a company report. The Denver BBB lists three complaints, all resolved, since September 2001 with only one complaint in the past 12 months. ToolKing has been in business since 1978. Being in business that long might indicate a good track record of service. I noticed a couple manufacturer Web sites list ToolKing as a source for their products. I received the product as ordered, promptly. Note, I did not need to contact customer service and therefore can't comment on it. |
