Supermediastore.com
I first ran across supermediastore.com a few years ago in a quest for some affordable (CHEAP) ink cartridges for a Canon printer. They had a tremendous deal on a set of 30 plus cartridges (all colors) that cost less than half what a Canon branded set of 5 cartridges cost me normally (not to mention the 20% off coupon and FREE shipping).

I was impressed to say the least.

You'll find a wide variety of items from printer ink & toner, to flash drives & all forms of media like SD cards, CF cards, DVD-R, DVD R and entirely too many other media related items to even begin to list.

Many products are name brands like Ridata, Verbatim, etc. while some are generic or no-name brands. While I like to stick with brands I have experience with, I've taken a chance on several of their generic brands with great success.

If you need something to store your media in, such as DVD wallets/binders you'll find a good selection of cases that vary from the small 10 DVD holders up to massive CD/DVD holders that will carry hundreds of discs. I've found some great deals here! I purchased 4pcs of DVD/CD binders that EACH hold over 400 discs for less than $30 including shipping. Storage for 1200 discs for $30 is cheap, but the binders were better built than smaller & more expensive binders I've purchased locally. Heavy duty zippers, massive handles, each disc pocket was well made from thick clear plastic with cloth-like backer material to keep scuffs to a bare minimum.

Need DVD or CD cases? They've got you covered here too. Single regular thickness DVD cases, single super slim DVD cases, double regular thickness, double super slim, multiple DVD cases (3 to 10 discs per case), and even colored DVD cases.

I generally buy DVD/CD cases in bulk packs of 100 or more. It's much cheaper to pay $20 for 100 cases with free shipping than to pay $15 for 25 cases and spend $10 shipping.

I may have boxes & boxes of DVD cases laying around that I may not use for a few years, but when I need them at least I don't have to wait a week for them to be shipped...just flip open a box & grab what I need.

I especially enjoy the daily/weekly emails with special bargains.

Recently, I've been purchasing SDHC (secure digital high capacity) memory cards for my digital camera.

My Canon camera supports up to 4gb SDHC memory cards & I'm able to grab them for less than $10.00 each.

Locally, the same size (memory) cards will cost at least $25.00.

If you need other types of memory cards, you're in luck too.
My camera can't tell the difference between the lesser known name brands (Apacer, PQI, etc.) supermediastore.com sells and the name brand ones from the big box stores.

Savvy electronics people will likely find other uses for SDHC cards, such as using a USB adapter to turn these little memory cards into ultra portable storage drives...but that's another story.

I'm thrifty when it comes to online purchases, so I always compare at least three other sites before making my purchase. More & more often, these guys have the best overall deals. Those daily/weekly email deals are usually pretty good deals, many times they'll have coupon codes for a percentage off or offers with free shipping.

I haven't found the need to contact their customer service, but with prices this low & free shipping, even if they made few small mistakes, I'd let it go without creating a huge fuss.

The site is pretty easy to navigate with categories listed on the left hand side of the site as well as some common items listed across the top. As usual, there are some flash banners that play various sales or new items from time to time.

Like most online stores, you can add items to your shopping cart to buy or delete later. Most times, items will stay in your cart for several days before they're automatically deleted.

I try to steer clear of items that don't have free shipping, unless the deal is REALLY good. I've found some great prices on an item here, but when you add $6.99 shipping to a $2.99 item, the deal isn't nearly as good.

Unless you purchase large bulky items such as large spindles of DVD media, huge boxes of DVD cases, etc. your packages will usually arrive via standard mail. All of my media cards came in a padded envelope within about a week of my purchase. Larger, heavy packages generally arrive via UPS or FedEx.

Unfortunately, there are already lots of people who know about the email specials. I've found this out the hard way when I go to purchase a sale item only to find out it's out of stock the same day I get their email flyer. I've had good luck many times purchasing sale items or items with discounts too.

Supermediastore.com is one of the first places I go when I need media, storage or other electronics gadgets.
