I was not familiar with this merchant and was very hesistant about placing an order. I work for a bank and am very cautious about using non-familiar sources. SF Planet has proved to be a good company and will shop with them again.

I wish there was some "after-hours" customer service or chat line available to those of us who do not live on Central Time Zone, or who work during SFP's office hours. It's hard to order/ask questions, etc. in a timely manner if you can't reach cust. service. When I DID reach them, they were helpful and polite. SFPlanet has had good merchandise before, which is why I returned. THIS particular product, though, so far is not up to par for me. However, I've had no problems w/SFP and would probably buy from them again.

The adapter was supposed to plug into a wall socket from one end and a car charger from the other. No problems with the car charging but the prongs on the wall socket end are very loose and it takes considerable effort to charge something from the wall. I ended up having to prop a chair against the charger to hold it in the wall. Haven't use the wall charge end since.

Their web site gives a USPS tracking number but the tracking gives no useful information. I am writing this on 3/6/2008. I placed a small order to see how sfplanet handled it. As a result of this test, I will not use sfplanet in the future. See usps tracking below: Label/Receipt Number: 9101 1480 0860 0474 5129 42 Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on February 14, 2008 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. No further information is available for this item.

As soon as I completed the order a message has been sent to me saying that my order has been shipped I was then expecting that the item would arrive to my address in 3 or 4 days. When it did not I was a little worried except somewhere in the agreement that 3 or 4 weeks could be the delivery waiting time. I received my order earlier than specified but later than what i was expected to believe based on the date of the message "my order was shipped'

I placed the order on Jan 17. One week later I send the merchant an email checking on the status of my order. They reply immediately indicating that the item is out of stock. It will take 2 to 3 weeks to get the item. This is the second waiting week. I will follow up next week. The good news is that my credit card was charged since Jan 17.
