I have mixed feelings about Rainbow Appliance. Ordering was easy. Delivery was not so easy. The first problem came about when Roadway (the freight delivery company) asked if they could get an "eighteen wheeler" down our street. They could not. So, we agreed to meet the delivery person and transfer to it to our truck (luckily we had one). My husband went to the agreed upon location, waited about an hour and finally Roadway called to say that the truck was broken down and could we reschedule for the next day (fortunately we could). We met Roadway the next day and opened the box to determine the condition of the refrigerator. Our brand new refrigerator had two dings/creases in the freezer door. Roadway suggested that we contact Rainbow Appliance to see if they would just send us a new freezer door. If not, Roadway agreed to pick the refrigerator back up. Rainbow said they would send us a new freezer door. After a couple of weeks, we finally heard back from Rainbow. Danby (the manufacturer) would not ship out a new freezer door, BUT Rainbow agreed to give us $75 off of the purchase price. A lot of this is not Rainbow Appliance's fault. They did try to get us a new freezer door from Danby and when that fell through they did give us some money off.
