I’ve been using Puritans Pride for years. I use herbs a lot and also order for my stepmother. I guess I order more that 4 times a year. I love them because usually they have a buy one get one free sale. There shipping is $3.95 no mater how much or how little you order. You can always upgrade to faster shipping at a higher rate.

The herbs are always high quality and the orders are shipped quickly. Over the years the only time that my order have been short is when the have been sold out of something. They let you know via email, snail mail, or telephone. When they get that product in, they ship it to you at no extra cost.

The customer service is GREAT! I have ordered over the phone and internet using a credit card and mailed in orders using a check. The folks are ALWAYS courteous, polite, and helpful. I like the fact that they never try to sell you more than what you’re trying to order. That fact is very important, as it is very annoying to have someone try to hard sell you something you don’t want or can’t afford.

They shoot me monthly sales announcements via email and a catalogue every so often, but I don’t end up inundated with tons of junk mail in my mail slot or email box. Since I usually shop online, that’s how they usually contact me.

Puritans has also recently partnered with Doctors Trust. They too usually have a buy one get one free sale. I suggest you do some comparison shopping between the two sites because the prices and or sales may vary.

What I don’t like: When searching for a particular product the search engine pulls up everything remotely related to it. So you have to narrow it down or wade through everything which gets to be very time consuming.

Overall: I love the products, prices, customer service, and cost of shipping. I recommend it to anyone who is shopping for supplements or herbs.
