I only know what I bought. There wasn't enough of a description of the item to help make a purchase, or else there weren't customer reviews to help. Cashmere sweater was very thin, seemed a bit smaller than average for size ordered. I can get much better quality for less on EBay and probably will, next time.

Excellent customer service. An item was substituted for an out of stock item I requested, but did not want and I was able to communicate directly and almost instantly with the vendor via email. The transaction was completed to my total satisfaction. Highly recommend them.

My package was lost. The order cost me $180.00 but Pashmina Boutique sent it via a USPS service that did not require a signature upon receipt. It apparently was left on the doorstep in the open and probably was stolen. The tracking information was confusing: it was not clear it had been delivered until the next day. Calls to PB were not reassuring. They want to blame USPS. They did not offer a replacement and say we have to wait 21 days before making a claim. I ordered on 12/14 and they have my $180 but I have no Xmas gifts to give.

I just do not like getting follow up emails that are unrelated to my order. I keep a list of places I've ordered from and look at it to order again. When I get updates about sales, or items i should look at - it makes me less likely to shop again, as that may increase the unwanted emails. Overall - I liked the scarf and am looking forward to giving it to a friend for christmas. I would also return to shop here for other cashmere items. The prices were fair and my order simply appeared.

Well designed website - easy to navigate, good pictures and descriptions;and easy to purchase from. Very good product range and excellent prices. Excellent customer service - responded very promptly to a pre-purchase email enquiry; range of shipping options inc. an economical International one,which suited me; and gift wrapping, although not taken up, was nonetheless a nice option available.
********* Only suggestions to improve it would be more information on the people who actually made the garments; (ie) The 'Fairwair' campaign aimed at promoting fair pay and conditions for textile workers both overseas and in the domestic industries of western nations. In the end, I took Boutique Jewels at their appearance, and purchased; although perhaps I ought to have pressed for a bit more information, as the garments bought would ultimately provide little joy if it turned out they were made by some impoverished child 'tied to the loom', and recieving only a pittance for their labours. The site also sold Ivory products, which although made of Mammoth tusk, nonetheless contribute to demand for this material(Ivory). This is naturally not good for those endangered creatures from which it is sourced today - Elephants and Rhinos. If would be a big boost to Boutique Jewels if they did sign up to the aims of Fairwair or make similar disclosure regarding production; and again decided not to restock further ivory items, which in the end represent a miniscule part of their product range anyway. As the founders/foundresses of the Body Shop and Starbucks have shown, Ethically made products are fast becoming the new chic; and so they should be.

As best as I can determine the errors in delivery were solely the fault of the carrier, FedEx. Pashmina Boutique says they credited the additional fee paid for 3 day delivery since that did not occur.

The web site was easy to use and very helpful. The Pashmina purchased was not the right color (I ordered white to go with a wedding gown but the actual color was an ivory or ecru). It also has an odor. I will be returning the Pashmina today.
