I went to Overstock.com trying to find a rug. I found two, and was kind of excited about them.
The first to arrive, was beautiful. Unfortunately, it was the wrong pattern/colors; they'd shipped a different item than what I had ordered. I immediately called to let them know, they told me that an email return shipping label would be sent to me and that the correct item would be shipped to me once they received the incorrect item back. That was two weeks ago, I'm still waiting for my label. On my "account status" online, it notes "Item pending return," so I know that they have my return, well, pending. However, I'm beginning to get nervous because I'll be missing the twenty days in which I officially have to return items. I have called in three times to inquire, and each time have been told that their return label system is "down." Down for that long? Well, that in and of itself is instilling absolutely no confidence to me that the item will ever arrive in my email IN box.
The next rug arrives, and is really bad quality. A giant disappointment given how lovely, if wrong, the first rug was. This one was significantly more expensive as well, and looked completely different than the photo made it look (a complaint that I saw a few times on rug reviews of other rugs on their own review system), looked totally dirty with its colors completely uneven. I called again to initiate a return, was told no problem and that a return shipping label would be emailed to me as well. One I'm also still waiting for.
I'm beginning to wonder if I'm going to have to file a complaint with the BBB or something.
