DO NOT BUY FROM THIS VENDOR! I purchased a table top portable propane heater, it took 10 days to get to my house and was defective from the manufacturer. I called to report the problem, they said they would send a new unit, a week later I got a call from the manufacturer who ended up sending me parts to try to repair myself. I refused as the directions say only a qualified technician can repair, so they violated their own safety warning.
I called the retailer to report this and ask why they never sent a new unit, I got some ridiculous run around story, then they said they would ship a new unit within a week. After 2.5 weeks, I called again, only to be informed the unit they shipped had been damaged and returned to them, and they would ship again. I told them not to ship, just refund the amount to my credit card. They said they would do that in 24 hours, that was on 11/25/08. Today, more than two weeks later, I still have not received a refund they promised.
I called 12/10/08 and spoke with the same person for the 4th time, a woman named "Tina", who consistently makes false promises which in my book are called LIES. So, after two months, I am still trying to get my refund.
Clearly, this is a fraudulent retailer with absolutely no customer service cares, they basicly make up false stories and lie. I did everything in their return policy procedures and have not received any service or a refund.
My advice is to avoid this retailer at all costs! DO NOT BUY FROM LIVING COMFORTS!
