We need vacation clothes and the fact my husband is a particular size my search led me to L L Bean. I was familiar of its name and knew it was a style he and I would like.

They are the only well-known merchant on the web that sell mens jeans waist size 33. This was wonderful, because from the name recognition, I knew the quality would be good.

They had a wonderful sale going on and I was able to order a swimsuit half the regular price. Since I was concerned about the sizing (I have a long torso and broad shoulders) I called the customer service line and was able to get a rep right away. He was awesome!!! He advised me that they do have long sizes available. I didn't remember seeing it on the sale page. After calling, I clicked back and there it was my size in LONG and on sale! What a wonderful feeling to be able to choose the size I need on the sale page.

I was able to pick up a dress for my daughter for about $11.00.

Also the rep on the phone informed me that ALL items are returnable -- even altered and swimsuits (I'm sure within reason). I like this type of customer service and that was definitely a plus in my book.

I was able to use a code for free shipping -- which was awesome and I was not assessed a sales tax. The shipment was shipped 3 days after I ordered, this includes an alteration item, which seems remarkably fast to me. I am expecting the package tomorrow.

What a pleasant experience shopping at this Store!
