I have had very good service from Kohl's Online. I have ordered from them several times and was happy with both the discounted price and the shipment. It seems to me that what most complain about here is a disregard (on the buyer's part)of what kind of store Kohl's is. Some of the negative reviews were from people who waited until the last minute to place Christmas orders and then became angry when they didn't receive the items quickly. Common sense tells me that unless web site specifically caters to late shoppers and guarantees timely delivery that you are always taking your chances shopping just a few days or weeks before the biggest shopping and shipping holiday of the year! Also, Kohl's is a discount store; while I still expect customer service when I make a purchase, I certainly don't expect it on the level I would get if I was paying the full (or top) price for an item. I don't shop discount stores for platinum service -- I shop to save money and I understand that the big savings also mean that the store saves money by cutting back on personnel and services offered. If I want to be treated like shopping royalty, then I shop at Saks or Tiffany. If I want to save up to 50% on good-quality merchandise, I shop at Kohl's, taking my chances on availability. I'm not aware of any discount store that offers the level of customer service Online that seems to be expected by some people and still is able to maintain the lowest prices on the highest quality merchandise.
