I called in to the Maspeth, NY office where Alex helped me. He is top notch professional and answered all of my questions, took my order and got it sent as promised. It will arrive Tuesday, June 9, which I anxiously await.
I work on the internet team for Verizon Wireless and have to say I was as pleased with Alex's professional manner and knowledge as we all have to be in our positions at Verizon Wireless! I cannot say this for other Customer Service reps as I'm sure you have all experienced in more than one way!
I trust that if I have any other questions I can get them answered, as well.
Alex gets my highest score for knowledge on the job, professionalism and a GENUINELY FRIENDLY manner; he was to-the-point in answering my questions.
I will certainly order from J&R Music again. I would not have known of you all, although I am a native NYer, but since Amazon cancelled my order for reasons unknown to me, and I saw my order came directly from J&R Music, I called directly. And someone was there with a number to call back on--RARE, RARE, RARE.
The price compared to Amazon.com was $100.00 less on the computer of my choice, as well as offering free shipping. What I needed to know was explained to me by Alex. Often, you can call Customer Service and get a non-English speaking person, who is struggling, and who can't understand what you want or need, so you get the "robot answer"...very frustrating! With J&R Music, I didn't get that at all.
And, their automated response system when calling was easy and logical to maneuver through...what a nice change from some other companies!
