Three days after placing a $177.95 order for Henckel Steak Knives, supposedly 'in stock' and my credit card billed, there is no order history. Website states Henckels ships within 10 - 14 days. Why would it take 10 - 14 days to ship an item 'in stock'??

The merchandise was received sooner than I was told to expect it. That was good. I haven't had a plummer in to look at it yet but it appears to be in good condition and what was ordered. The only issue I had was that the delivery was "curb side" and I wasn't expecting that. No one told me to expect "curb side" delivery. I have never ordered online and received "curb side" delivery before.

Overall, it was a quick, efficient shopping experience.
Regarding the customer service, though the people I dealt with were pleasant, they were unable to cancel my initial order within 4 1/2 hours of placing it, which leaves me with an extra toilet (Toto Drake) that I need to return at my own expense, which I find unacceptable.
I find it hard to believe my initial order could not be cancelled, since the customer service representative told me the cancellation was made and I would receive a confirmation in the morning. What I received instead was an apology for not being able to cancel it, and instructions on how to contact customer service to request a return authorization.
The return authorization should have been automatic, and I should have been told to refuse delivery without being charged a restocking fee.
I would like to receive prepaid UPS return labels (two parcels: tank and bowl) to ship this toilet back for the same shipping I was charged ($0.00).
I am very pleased with the Toto Dalton toilet that was ordered after I cancelled the first, and I would like to purchase another, but I first have to get the Drake back to you.

The crystal was shipped directly from Lenox. One glass was completely shattered. I called HomeClick twice and was disconnected both times. The third time I called, I received no introduction or salutation -- only quiet music in the background. I did stay on the line and was helped by Tatiana in Customer Service. She was pleasant and efficient. I am waiting to hear if I have to return ship the broken item -- which I will definitely not pay to ship.

my problem is that this merchant did not have photos on the web site and i did order the wrong item and now have to go through huge expense to send it back. Also they charge a re-stocking fee, also I spent extra for excpedited shipping..I am so annoyed. I wanted decorated plate and i got a plain one. It was in good condition, but not what I intended. It was to have been a gift for my husband and I had to scramble to get something else. Also I now have tio make phone calls to try and return it..it will cost me so much!!!!

I placed order and then read reviews because they were way cheaper on 3 chandelier globes I ordered ($168 vs $227 at local authorized dealer) Got a ship date a couple of weeks out. I wasnt in a hurry no problem but negitive reviews were haunting me so I called and talked to customer service. Polite on phone offered to cancel order with no hassle if I wished. Gave me a firm date that I could expect order. I let it ride, about 5 days before firm arrival date got another Email saying it was pushed back a couple of weeks. OH NO! RED FLAG! Called local dealer and asked how long it would take them to get, they told me 3 weeks. I was already 3 1/2 weeks into this so I thought I would let it ride a bit longer. The next day received shipping notice from UPS and received globes 1 day later than their original delivery date. |

Please be aware of the slow delivery time of Homeclick.com. I made a $212.24 purchase on August 17, 2008 for Mikassa dinnerware. As of today, September 11, 2008 I still have not received my merchandise. My credit card has been charged and I have paid the September statement. I did call the comapny and the expected delivery will be September 21, 2008. I was told that it was the policy of the company to charge the customer immediately even if there is a delay in shipping their merchandise. No other assistance was offered. I also sent an email to customer service and have not had a response from them. I will no longer order from them, it is not worth the savings. Customer service is not their strong suit. Hopefully my items that I ordered will be received complete and not damaged. I don't know how they will stand behind damaged or unsatisfacory items. I wish I had researched the company before I placed the order. Hopefully this will help other consumers be well informed about Homeclicks policy and customer assistance.

I went ahead and placed another order same product but with the correct finish. I called the company the following business day and asked for a RMA. I received an email and have been waiting since 8.27.08 for an RMA.
The transaction is 211866.
The company seems to be okay when placing an order.
The problem seems to be when returning a product and never receiving a RMA for returned merchandise.
