Nightmare-ish experience. I have made 11 phone calls and spent over three hours on phone with Homeannex.com's "Customer Service" and Return Goods Dept (quotation marks intentional) during a 6 week period trying to return unsatisfactory items. I ordered polished antique brass cabinet knobs but received knobs which were dark brown with an obviously distressed finish.  They would not issue a return goods authorization because the item number on the knobs I received matched the item number of the knobs on my order.  They insisted that they could not be held responsible for inaccuracy of photos given to them by the manufacturer.  In the meantime, I ordered knobs from another online vendor-- Decor66.com.  Unfortunately Decor66.com turned out to be a sister site of Homeannex.com, which are both operated by the parent company Decorative Hardware Direct, Inc.  They charged my credit card as soon as the order was placed instead of charging upon shipment of goods.  When those knobs did not arrive 4 weeks after ordering, I called customer service.  I was told that the knobs were "in house and would ship out the next day".  They never showed up.  Called customer service again.  I was told that time that the manufacturer was experiecing production delays due to the holidays and also because they were going out of business.  But-- I could expect to receive my knobs in 2-3 weeks.  I researched the manufacturer (Hickory Hardware) and found NO evidence that they were "going out of business" as I had been told.  I decided to cancel the order and was allowed to do so because the items had not shipped.  The Return Goods Department representative said that my credit card would be refunded "instantaneously".  I called twice about my refund when it did not appear in my credit card activity online.  Both times I was told by the same woman in the RGA dept that "she was doing it right now".  When I called to verify with my credit card company, they had no record of any refund activity from Homeannex.com.  I was connected to their fraud department and they said they would take care of it.
