Refused to refund the amount paid

I ordered a chair/ottoman set.  I accepted the chair (not the highest quality but okay for the price) but the ottoman was coming unstitched right out of the box.  I returned and exchanged it.  Ditto the replacement ottoman.  So I CALLED customer service.  Was told they would send a return slip and that I would be refunded $150.27 (the set sold for $499, $348.73 for the chair and $150.27 for the ottoman according to the receipt FROM HOME DECORATORS) when the ottoman reached their warehouse.  When they received the ottoman I received an email confirmation that I would be refunded $130!  What?  They kept insisting that was the "value" of the ottoman since they were sold as a set, contrary to their invoice.  Long story short, after more than a dozen exceedingly frustrating email exchanges to no fewer than six different HD reps (every email I sent in reply to one of theirs went to yet a different rep so there was NO continuity in communication) I called and was put in touch with a supervisor.  He guaranteed I would receive the remaining $20.27.  I had him send a confirmation email.  We will see if that matters.  I was ready to contact VISA to take care of it.
