Five day delay in shipping. Corrected when I called to inquire. Mistakes happen.

I placed an order for over $100 of accessories for my Klean Kanteen bottles. I was sent an email stating that once my order shipped I would receive another email with tracking information. Five days later, I had still not received this information. I emailed the company that morning and waited until late that afternoon when I telephoned the company. Tony found my order and said, "Oh, ah, I don't know why this wasn't 'printed', all the items are in stock. I'm glad you called." In other words, my order was lost in the shuffle and would never have been sent out had I not called! Grrr. He said he would send it out that day. I asked if he could at least send it out with a faster shipping mode, since this was their error. He said, "I don't know if we can do that; it may be too expensive." But a little later in the conversation he said they would send it out priority mail. I received the order 3 days later. The order was accuate and all items were in new condition.
I realize that mistakes happen. I would have been more satisfied if they would have been more apologetic at first sign of a problem on their end, and it would have been better customer service if they had OFFERED the expediated shipping to me rather than having to ask for it myself. I think they could have thrown some little thing extra free in my order to appease the customer, too. However, after the error was found, they did a satisfactory job of correcting it.
