I SO wish I'd seen these reviews before I stupidly ordered OPI nail polish from these crooks, thinking their free shipping for orders over $50 was a good deal.

I ordered on Sept.8, and have STILL not received anything from them - it is now Oct.19. They charged me for the order (just over $50) on Sept.26 after numerous delays and feeble one-liner e-mails saying one item was incomplete, blah blah. Calling their toll-free no. is a lost cause (answering machine whenever you call), and they provide no legitimate address on their site, so you can't write to them either. I eventually looked their address up through their web domain name, and it's a PO box in EmeryVille, CA. Not even a proper address. I feel so duped now.

They told me they would ship on Sep.20 (due to an incomplete order). Then they told me it had been shipped on Sept.28 (no reason given, but they charged me the full amount on Sept.26). I waited and waited, and nothing came. Finally they gave me a USPS tracking no. on Oct.4 - which, as of today, says "The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper or shipping partner on October 04, 2006 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. "...i.e. the USPS most likely has not yet received the shipment for delivery.

And yet they claim in their e-mails back to me "For large shippers the US Postal Service does not scan the package at acceptance or in transit, they will only scan it at delivery. For this reason the tracking on www.usps.gov will not update until 24 hours after the package has been delivered." - HUH?! Wouldn't this defeat the whole purpose of a tracking service!? They keep sending me the USPS tracking no. and the above paragraph whatever I write to them now - it's like talking to a brick wall.

Seriously, I've been shopping on the web for 10 years, and have NEVER had so much hassle. Usually, I'm very patient, easy to please, and don't mind the occasional hiccup - we're all human, after all. But THIS!! I've been stressing about this for weeks!!

And you know what? The icing on the cake -- THEY filed a claim against ME on PayPal today - as if I have done something wrong. My eyeballs just about popped out of my head - I was dumbfounded. PayPal takes a leisurely 30 days to sort through claims, and so this probably means I won't be seeing my money for another month...I am SO angry.

So please, please, please do NOT make the same mistake as me and buy from these CRIMINALS, and warn your friends and family too. I had to learn my lesson the hard way, and am definitely going to stick with the old and trusted web merchants from now on - and I appreciate their service and products all the more after experiencing sheer web shopping HORROR with GW Beauty. I hope they go under REALLY SOON. They shouldn't be allowed to get away with STEALING honest, hard-working people's money.

UPDATE: Nov.7.2006

Paypal finally refunded me the full amount, and the case is closed. I never did receive my order - not a single item, and the USPS tracking information still remains the same.

So, in conclusion, they took my money, did not send anything, and thought they would get away with it. A complete waste of time and effort.
