The product received was better looking that the picture. The quality of craftsmanship was superior. I am very pleased with the product. The delivery was a little longer than expected, and I expected an email or something from the company explaining the delay, instead I had to make the call to inquire about the status of delivery.

On the site, the product was said to be shipped in 5 to 8 business days. Unfortunatly, I didn't receive or here anything from the company yet my credit card was charged. I ordered the table on Nov. 5 and recieved it on Dec 8 or there abouts. After calling nomerous times and speaking only to the operator and getting a promise that someone would call back, finally Virginia (x100) called me and explained what was going on. There should have been comunication immediatly, not 3 weeks with my trying to find out what was going on!!! My order finally arrived, although I am still missing the lazy susan which i have been promised is on order and 2 skid pads that go under the feet of the table. I hope they arrive soon!!! I can not say if I would order again until this order is complete. I'm still waiting and it's Christmas Day!

This is the 2nd item we have bought thru FOTW- while the products have always been very good, the first time (computer desk) we did not receive the rails for the slide out drawer, and getting those took a very long time..this time no hardware was missing, but the instructions were missing a page. Since we had done similar assemblies before, it was no problem, but might be for someone who never has done one.

I placed my order on 11/04/04, had to phone to get a confirmation. Was then told that the furniture was not in stock however, my accouny had been already been charged. I requested that the charge be removed until the item was shipped. This was done, however I did not hear any thing else from the merchant until I called again on 12/10 and was told that the item was being shipped to them, and I would receive the tracking information nlt 12/13. As as 12/20, I have not received any information from the merchant. I was also assured that the item would be delivered to me before Christmas. Since it is only 4 days to Christmas. This looks very bleak. I am quite dissatisfied with the entire process. Most of all, because I feel that I have not been contacted in a timely manner and always had to initiate any and all contact or communication with the merchant.

I ordered on the internet and found the site to be easy to shop and order from, however, the product I received was not as high a quality as I expected. It was cheaply made and I did not realize that I was going to have to assemble it. I thought I was purchasing a better product then I received. The photo did not look as cheap and the product I received. I managed to get it together and I am using it, but I am still on the lookout for a better quality magazine rack in oak.

I just received a dining room set from furniture on the web and to my surprise, it was beautiful and sturdy. So many times when you order items on the web, you do not know what to expect and it can be quite scary because the refund fees and shipping can be staggering if you do not like it. That and not to mention the fact that if it arrives damaged, it can take a long time to replace. This was not the case with my dining room. It was well packaged, delivered when I needed it, and it was sound sturdy furniture. Ethan Allen quality, if you will. The staff at the order department was top notch. Amy was helpful, courteous, and pleasant. She showed me that she cared about my needs, and steered me in the right direction with regards to my selection and delivery date needs. I was hesitant to order our dining room furniture off the web, without feeling it and seeing it, the stain and quality and workmanship is important. We shopped many home stores and didn't find exactly what we wanted, which brought us to Furniture on the Web.
They had exactly what we wanted, customer service was outstanding, and our furniture arrived without incident. The quality of the wood is excellent, very heavy duty sturdy table and chairs, we love it. The stain was exactly as described, and we are very happy. We will certainly be shopping with them again! I ordered a dining room table and received it about a week after ordering. Unfortunately, it was broken completely across in two different places (along with two of the legs not capable of working because of bent rods). I called and spoke to a very friendly woman who told me they would send a replacement and let me know whether I should send the broken one back. Two weeks later, haven't heard anything from them, despite trying to call and emailing.

the only bad thing was the very small pictures on the web for furniture you can't blow them up to see what your spending $1000 on. Customer service via phone was outstanding ,every time I called your people were friendly, knowledgeable, spoke English and didn't rush me off the phone. Delivery speed was slow but I was told how long it would take in advance so it wasn't a problem at all. I ordered an outdoor light fixture and the pictures there happen to be much better and the item that arrived looked just like its picture not some cheap immitation. Overall I was very satisfied. Virginia, who also was outstanding ,has submitted a request to send me enlarged pictures by e-mail to help us decide on our corner curio.
