My shopping experience at Furniture on the Web was incredible. I was in the market for a specific Torch Aire lamp. I had a specific look I was trying to achieve, but didn't know where to begin my search. I searched the Internet and literally stumbled upon your website. And thus began my search. There was a tremendous amount of merchandise to view. Once I narrowed my search and found the lamp that I wanted. I ordered it and the rest is history. I have had nothing but great feedback from friends when they come to my home. And, indeed, they are quite beautiful. Thanks for making my experience so pleasurable.

Te one thing they COULD improve is the description of their products. My purchase was so MUCH NICER than the description relayed. I know they can't give the manufacturerer's names, but there are so many neat and good selling points to my purchase that I only discovered after I rec'd them !! for example, the end tables also have a drawer.... good transaction & happy customer here !!

I ordered a coffee table that arrived before the expected delivery date. The table was well packaged and undamaged, and the quality was better than I had expected. When I called customer service earlier about why I had not received an email confirmation, the representative was very courteous and professional. Turns out my email address had been entered incorrectly and they quickly corrected the mistake. My only complaint is that the pictures on the web site could have been better. Would order from them again.

I ordered my item May 31st and have yet to get it as of July 15th. Needless to say I am upset and frustrated. Upset because I am expecting a baby which is why I ordered the bunk beds...I actually need them to organize my space for the baby. Frustrated because I keep getting different stories when I contact people about my order. It seems they do not know what is going on, and I have no idea when to expect this item. I have also yet to recieve an appology-just a thank you for your patience...my patience is wearing very thin. At this point I am going to wait one more week, and if I do not get the item and/or at the very least a tracking number that it has shipped, I will be forced to cancel my order and go elsewhere.

Customer service was excellent. Some concerns with quality of merchandise. Missing hardware(which they replaced). All legs to tables not uniformly alike in color or design. I am happy with the appearance of the set otherwise, it really is beautiful.

I bought a Cherry Twin bed headboards/frame combo (SKU #055261) and was very satisfied. It was very hard to find a bed I liked, and this store turned out to have the solution. I ordered on the 16th May, 2006, and received my order on June 5th, even though I had to call their customer service line (I had given the wrong address). The clerks were helpful and courteous, and even with the delay, the timing of arrival was kept. The bed arrived with no damage, even the packaging was in great order. Everything corresponded to what I had seen online, and it was easy and convenient to set up. Personally, I had a great experience. People who are dissatisfied with this store are probably so because they order unpopular items or items that are of unknown origin or manufacturer. My bed stated that it was US made, and it arrived in the timing and condition that corresponds to a quality US made bed. If you order a Chinese or Mexican bed frame, you run the risk of shipping damage.

I had look at so many furniture stores for a counter height table and could't find the size and color to fit my kitchen. Needless to say I was very frustrated! Then one of my friends from work said to shop online. I started looking and found exactly what I wanted. I wanted to make sure the chairs were comfortable so I purchased 2 chairs first. They were great and then I ordered the table and 2 more chairs. They came very quickly and were delivered to my door.

Boy, sure glad I read these reviews first. I was banking on shelling out over 5,000 on a bedroom set from these people. Obviously not all the reviews were unfavorable, but keep in mind that this furniture company buys their product probably overseas and the damage is destined to happen. You take your chances I say. I didn't like what their website terms and conditions says about contracting with manufacturers and not releasing their names until product arrives to your home. What kind of bullying is that? Sounds like "insert famous cheap priced chain store here" to me. Thank you ahead of time to everyone who wrote an opinion on this company - good or bad. I think it's safe to say that I'm bummed because the pieces are what I've been looking for, but guess I'll go to a store where I can actually see them.

The biggest room for improvement was with respect to order tracking. I don't recall receiving UPS tracking info. Also, one of the three boxes arrived the day after the first two boxes...but there was no waybill telling me that I should expect a third box.

It took three tries to get the desk undamaged. After the second one came, I spoke to a representative and explained how I felt it was their packing that allowed the damage to occur. When the third one arrived, it was obvious they modified their process. In addition, I was very pleased to see that when I opened the box, considerable care was taken to ensure the previous problems could not reoccur. The orientation of the desk was changed to reduce any chances of damage. I am now very pleased with the results.

Do NOT shop at furnitureontheweb.com. They have a ridiculous cancellation policyof a 30% restocking fee and you can only return the order 30 days after you receive it. I tried to cancel my order a few minutes after it was placed. I
called customer service. All she did was state "their policy". There was absolutely no effort to help me out. All it's about is getting your order, that's it. They are not customer friendly. The return and cancellation policies are complete nonsense. Do NOT shop there! I purchase a lot of things online and this is by far the WORST experience I have ever had. |

I have received 3 of the six items I ordered. One was cancelled as it was out of stock. While my credit card was charged in full in March, it has yet to be credited for the cancelled item. There are two items still outstanding of which I have no idea where they are. It has been 2 months. No communication, with the exception of out of stock carpet.

Items received were exactly as described. Good over packing prevented damage. Glass table top arrived undamaged as did the rest of the order. Only comment - Got the standard receipt of order email as soon as order was placed but did not get an update until 4 days later when the item shipped. I would prefer an update that the order was being processed and an approximate ship date. Not a big deal since the order was processed quickly and tracking info provided. I'll be back if I need anything else.

Customer service had no idea what was included when I called them and they had to refer to the manufacturer. Then there was no mention on it needing to bolt onto a headboard & footboard model frame.
