I've received the Domestications catalog for years. I do love catalogs and this is one of my favorites. I like to flip through the catalog before going to their online site.

What I love about Domestications is the variety of bed in a bag sets. Not to mention the prices. I like the seasonal bedding they come out with. Only site I've seen to carry Halloween bedding and other accessories. The children's bedding items and accessories is also a favorite. I just really enjoy seeing items I have not seen anywhere else.

I've purchased the Dinosaur bedding for my 4 year old son with the rug and the 2 dinosaur pillows. He loves it. That's the only comforter he wants on his bed. I've also purchased throw blankets as gifts and the cable cotton weave blankets. Those blankets are wonderful for the summer when it's too warm on the top floor to have a comforter on the bed. My personal favorite item purchased is the cashmina comforter and sheet set. I wanted it the first time I saw it in the catalog but waited awhile to order because of the price. I purchased the comforter and sheet set at $49.99 each. At one point the sheet set was at $89.99. I like shopping for bargins even if it means waiting. Wish I had this set so much sooner because I live in OH and it is cold during the winter months. Before owning this set, I would sleep with flannel sheets, comforter and electric blankets because I was so cold. I even sleep in sweats and socks! But not anymore. The cashmina sheets are so soft and warm and not to mention feel wonderful on the skin.

The downsides to Domestications. With the cashmina set, I wish there were other colors. I really wanted this set in black. I bought the comforter and sheet set in bluebell. Sometimes you might have to wait on prices to come down on new items. If you do not order often enough from Domestications, they stop sending the catalog. I'm not a fan of paying shipping and handling plus sales tax so sometimes I wait on the free shipping offers.

I can't fault paying the shipping fees for my cashmina set because I have not seen anything quite like it in stores. Department store prices just don't really compare to Domestications, depending on your needs. Domestications does not carry high end brands you'll find at Macy's. I purchase mostly children's bedding and accessories. I'm not looking for high end 400 thread count sheets for them. They're kids, they still play on their beds and "accidents" happen!

I've been a customer with Domestications since the mid 1990's. I've never had any problems with any order, delivery or dealing with customer service. So you could say my luck with Domestications has been very good. I've ordered through Domesications online and the 1-800 number. I did have one order back ordered, it was the green cable weave cotton blanket but it was here within 10 days.
