First off - My hats off to Brad for being patient and incredibly helpful. Thanks Brad!

Calumet is probably one of the best camera equipment shops on the globe, and in my opinion one of the best experiences I've ever had with a online retailer.

After searching numerous sites and calling various stores for a Canon 1Ds Mk II, Calumet was the only shop that actually worked with me instead of just reading off a list of rules of what they can and cannot do.

Like most people I have a debit card with a daily limit on POS purchases. Unlike other places I spoke with, Calumet was able to tap my card at an amount I specified until the balance of my purchase was made. While I've been able to do this with some other retailers, the camera shops I've inquired about this flat out said 'We can't do that!'.

They also deliver to APO's. Package arrived in 5 days from date of delivery via DHL (a record for Afghanistan!). Everything was packed safe and secure. Every other camera shop I spoke with again flat out said 'We don't deliver to APO's'.

From their Service Reps to their Financial Dept. Their staff was friendly, knowledgeable and worked their butt off to make it happen. I will definitely be shopping there again.

My only small complaint was that I never received a delivery confirmation email. But considering it was the holidays I'm quite willing to let that one slide.
