Re: bargain basement batteries.  Needed a battery for our camera for a vacation.  they sent wrong item so i had to purchase one locally. after the vacation, i returned the incorrect battery and asked for a refund. they resent item out anyway . i returned it (i had to pay the return shipping both times) and been waiting on a credit for some time now. sent 3 emails and rec'd no respond.

I naively placed an order with Bargainbasementbattieries.com 12-19-08, I had my power adapter for my laptop shipped ground, so I figure I should get it by Dec. 30th after the christmas rush. They sent me an e-mail dated 12-19th with a LINK to track the status of my order which is useless as all it does is show me the date the order was received. AND, like many of you I called the phone numbers they list, NO answer, I leave a message, no reply. Have sent MANY e-mails asking whats up. Now when I call them I get a message that the phone number is no longer in service.  Imagine that!  I have contacted the Better Business Bureau in the meantime.

Though their website indicated the battery was "In Stock", I was informed the next day that the order was on hold until further notice due to inventory shortages. When I checked the website again, it still indicated the battery was "In Stock."

They notified me item shipped day of order, yet item didn't actually ship until 4 days later.

They state USPS First class, but shipped my item Parcel Post. (Boy, they "earned" themselves an extra one dollar with this bit of deceit!)It has been 2 weeks from actual ship date and item STILL not here.

I'm filling a card dispute and placing another order with someone else. I'll mark pkg "return to sender" if it arrives.

Bargain Basement Batteries??? Buyers Beware. This is not an online store, is a sack of thieves. I ordered an AC adapter for my Compaq Laptop. This people sent it to the wrong address, USPS returned them the item as undeliverable "over one month later". am still waiting to get my refund. As of now, I placed a dispute with my bank. Called them in different occasions, they will never answer the phone, you have to leave a message and they will call you back whenever they feel like it. This little mediocre company is a nightmare, no wonder they have to steal from people to do a living. they can't even afford professional staff. Now, there are many respectable and honest sellers out there. Save yourself the problem, avoid this company. Don't let them rip you off... as they did to me. Best of Lucks.and keep an eye out.

The shipping was slower than I had hoped and was surprised to find that the adapter was not manufactured by my laptop company but only an alternative "compatible" product. Wish that would have been on the website when I was shopping -- I would have bought it anyway because I needed it, but just for the sake of proper information.

BUYER BEWARE: these people are untrustworthy, unreliable, sell bad products and do not operate in good faith: I bought 9 B905S 12V 3800 mAh laptop batteries (they said they had 10 but only sent 9) all supposedly new and with their so-called satisfaction garantee. Actually none of them worked. One had been charged 260 times. Neither new nor functional, I tried to send them back. they came up with the excuse that because each one had a tiny sticker (easily removable) they would not honor their word. I am out $650 dollars, they have my money and the batteries. NEVER AGAIN!

I ordered a laptop battery from them on-line and the site said "in-stock". After waiting one week I called to see why it had not shipped. They said it was temporarily out of stock but will ship in 3-4 days. I waited one week and checked back. This time I was told it would be another 1-2 weeks. I cancelled my order and lost 2 weeks waiting.

Terrible! I never received the battery I ordered. Many frustrating rounds with them on phone and via email to get them to actually ship the battery or refund the money. No reply. Having to go through credit bureau, bank and charge card company with fraud reports to get a refund. As far as I can tell, store is a complete scam.

I ordered a camcorder battery for my Sony Handicam. I could hardly believe how fast I got my order. It was all of a couple of days and it was here. Order Accuracy: Advertised deal for Hi-Capacity AC-B25 AC Adapter states free shipping is incorrect. Company emailed me the following response to my inquiry:

"Free shipping via USPS when your order totals over $50.00"

This limitation was not stated in the DealTime price. However, the price is still second best I found and with $4 of best price.

Battery ordered was not battery received. When asked what would be done to fix the issue, I was told that I would have to wait the extra minimum six days to receive my correct battery. They require an RMA shipment to be received prior to sending out the replacement, and would only upgrade to UPS 3 day. One person told me that they could only credit me $5 for my RMA shipping costs, while another told me that they could replace my shipping costs. They have no idea what they are doing and their webmaster must be a retard if he hasn't repaired the image/part number associations in the database. Is it me, or do I see a lot of mis-shipped batteries? Hey idiots at BBB? Do you folks even have a clue?
