I placed an order for a chair that was in stock, received a confirmation email (not to mention my payment was accepted right away) and according to the website, in stock items should be received in 3-10 days. After 10 days, I called and left a message inquiring about my order-- I was in need of the chair for vacation and (thought) I gave myself plenty of shipping time. Finally received a call back from a woman named Lisa who tried to tell me she left me a mesaage 2 days after I placed my order because they did not have the color I wanted in stock. This message was never left and it wasn't until nearly 3 weeks after I placed my original order that I finally spoke to someone (after leaving messages) only to find out the item was NEVER in stock to begin with and she only had 1 in another color, but sold it, because she never heard back from me. I wished I had seen these other reviews before ordering. I didn't even get an apology from her. She insisted that it was my fault because I never got back to her. I'm sure if there was an issue with my payment she would have made more than a single alleged attempt to contact me.
The icing on the cake---when I called to cancel my order and request a refund, she could not have cared any less. We'll see how long my refund takes. I placed my order here because the price was reasonable and the shipping time was supopose to be quick. Plus, I prefer to send my business to smaller companies rather than a Babies R Us. Its a shame when the smaller company doesn't appreciate the business. Do yourself a favor, save the headache and shop elsewhere---That's all as I have to go to Babies R Us now and buy some sort of chair....just what I had hoped to do :(
