Customer Service Completely Useless!

Ok, let me try and tell you my experience while trying to purchase a GC through Amazon.com. A few days after placing my order I started to question whether or not I asked for the GC to be mailed or emailed to me. So, I wrote customer service asking that simple question. When I got home later that afternoon my GC was sitting in my mailbox so I assumed problem solved until I checked my email the next morning. The "customer service rep" took it upon themselves to cancel my GC order and issue me a new one. No where in my email did I ask for that to be done. This was my first hint that the people in their customer service department do not read, write or understand English. And no, that's not me trying to be offensive-it's the truth. So, I now had a GC that had been voided and was completely useless. I wrote their customer service department again to express my unhappiness at the fact that I now might not receive the new GC by Christmas leaving me with no gift. I get an email response back with the serial number of my new GC and a note that I can forward that email on to the gift recipient. Why on Earth would I send an email (that includes my complaint in it!) to my gift recipient. That is not an acceptable Christmas gift. So, I wrote back again telling them that I believe it would be good customer service on their part if they expedited the shipping of my new GC considering this situation was their fault. I received an email back telling me they would be more than happy to provide me with the information I requested and proceeded to tell me once again the serial number of my GC. No where in my email did I ask for that information. More proof that they don't understand English! So I wrote back again. This time I asked for a manager or supervisor to contact me. When I received my response (which was not from a manager or supervisor as requested) I was told that I was absolutely right. They should expedite the shipping of my new GC but they are now experiencing "technical difficulties" and can not mail any GCs. What "technical difficulties" prevent you from sticking a piece of paper in the mail???? And at what point were they going to tell me they couldn't mail my GC? I'm guessing never since they didn't fess up to it until my 5th or 6th email. I finally had to cancel my order and have my credit card refunded. After they confirmed my order was cancelled and my credit card was refunded I asked for the name and mailing address of a manager or supervisor b/c I wanted to write a letter. And their response? "Unfortunately, we can not reinstate a cancelled order" Proof yet again that they don't understand English! I will never shop with them again!
