This is the only kayak available that uses a patented extendable outrigger system to stabilize the craft, enabling outdoor enthusiasts to fish from a standing position. Made of durable polyethylene with stainless steel and aluminum hardware, the kayak has two independent outriggers that pivot outward 45\u00B0 to its centerline, yet both swing back into position to form the aft section of the craft to allow for smooth paddling. Both outriggers can be removed for easy transport and each has a watertight storage compartment. The kayak has an adjustable nylon-covered padded foam seat and adjustable footpads, allowing you to achieve an optimal paddling position. Its casting brace nests into the bow unobtrusively and locks into place when raised; a pull-rope is built into the hull to assist you in rising to a standing position. Favored by Orville Wright and U.S. presidents, this is the oak tool chest handmade by H. Gerstner & Sons, crafter of solid-wood tool cabinets for over 100 years. Painstakingly fitted piece-by-piece using the time-tested methods developed in 1906, the chest is made of solid quartersawn American white oak and constructed using tongue and groove joinery and lock joint corners. Fit tolerances are measured with hand gauges to ensure exacting standards and generations of reliable use. Twenty-one drawers range in size from 9 3/4" to 15 1/2" deep and provide 6,935 cubic inches of storage to accommodate everything from nuts and bolts to precision tools, gauges, and power tools. Each drawer is lined with hunter green felt that wicks away moisture, protecting tools from rust and rot. The drawers are meticulously shaped, planed, and fitted by hand to ensure they open and close smoothly, and the topmost chest has Gerstner's patented spring-loaded brass catches that prevent drawers from falling out of the unit. A 28" x 20" cork-lined work surface affords ample room for small projects or organizing hardware. Two sliding-hinged panels pull out from the chest, cover the drawers, and can lock for secure storage. The drawer pulls, corner mounts, handles, and locks are nickel-plated, and the chest undergoes a three-step stain and lacquer finish that is hand rubbed into the grain to retain the wood's natural, rich golden color. Eight United States Presidents have used a Gunlocke chair while in office. Franklin D. Roosevelt had two chairs, one for his office and one for his air raid shelter while John F. Kennedy's chair was custom constructed with special support added for his back. President Johnson had three chairs which were specially made to accommodate his height. Aside from Presidents, the traditional high back chair has served executives for years in embassy suites, congressional offices and judges' chambers. Its ergonomic design and high-quality construction are the work of The Gunlocke Company, furniture makers for over 96 years. Offering exceptional comfort and durability, the leather- upholstered swivel chair has a solid cherry brass-capped base with 2-inch rubber wheels. The interior frame of solid maple that has been double-doweled, corner-blocked, glued and screwed for extra strength. All frame components are made of high-density maple which strongly grips upholster tacks, preventing them from loosening. Using the same construction as fine upholstered furniture, it has a sinuous spring suspension (11-gauge steel springs that run across the seat of the chair) along with a fill of Dacron polyester and polyurethane foam that will provide years of supportive, sag-free seating. The chair's back is also foam-filled over a spring foundation. Soft, top-grain leather upholstery finishes the chair. Dark cherry finish.
