The fuel tank must be drained because it is very heavy and removal is difficult with much fuel in the tank. J-45004 is small enough in diameter to fit the B and U-vans, and long enough to work on the GMT370. J-45004 is threaded into the fuel filler until it makes contact with the ORVR check valve, then pushed through the valve approximately another 12 inches.
