We offer the best quality pashmina in shawls, stoles, medium stoles and scarves. Pashmina is made from the finest cashmere wool in the world. It is combed from the underside of the Himalayan Mountain Goat, which are indigenous to the mountains of Central Asia. Pashmina has been valued for centuries throughout Asia and the Middle East, and the wonderful qualities of pashmina are now making it just as popular in the West. Each piece is unique. Skilled craftsmen intricately hand-embroider the shawl with bead accents. These elegant wraps are available with embroidery all over or border embroidery. In any case, these wraps stand apart in that no two pieces are alike and are heirloom pieces. Unfazed by the scientific age, pashmina shawls are hand spun the same way it has been done for centuries. The hairs are gathered from the Himalayan goat called Hircus, which lives at high altitudes, 12 to 14000 feet in the mountains. The Pashmina is gathered by hand, stored and combed by nomadic herders. The threads are hand woven on handlooms over a silk wrap, which gives the fabric resilience. Once the fabric is loomed, each piece is hand dyed in open vats. Afterwards it is given to the different craftsmen for hand-embroidery, beading and /or printing. They are very soft and luxurious in feel. These shawls are woven from the best quality of Cashmere Pashmina and Silk. These shawls can be worn as a wrap or a scarf. The size is 78 inches long and 28 inches wide and each shawl is finished with 2 or 2.5 inches long tassels. The fabric comprises of approximately 70% Cashmere Pashmina and 30% Silk. The combination of Cashmere and Silk makes the fabric versatile and resonating with color. The shawls are hand loomed in Nepal and India and are offered in a wide selection of vibrant colors. We recommend dry cleaning. Less

Unfazed by the scientific age, pashmina regular shawls are hand spun the same way it has been done for centuries. These regular shawls are woven from the best quality of Cashmere Pashmina and Silk. These regular shawls can be worn as a wrap or a scarf. The size is 78 inches long and 28 inches wide and each regular shawl is finished with 2 or 2.5 inches long tassels. The fabric comprises of approximately 70% Cashmere Pashmina and 30% Silk. The combination of Cashmere and Silk makes the fabric versatile and resonating with color. The regular shawls are hand loomed in Nepal and India and are offered in a wide selection of vibrant colors. We recommend dry cleaning. Less

Pashmina, from the Persian word for wool, is popularly known in the west as cashmere wool, from the old spelling for Kashmir. The fine wool comes from the undercoat of the Himalayan mountain sheep which is raised by semi-nomadic herders. The fiber is exceptionally absorbent and it dyes very easily and deeply. Pashmina is unsurpassed for its luxurious rarity, incomparable softness, warmth and durability. Exceptionally elegant, this superior-quality Pashmina is woven from a luxuriously inviting blend of 70-percent cashmere and 30-percent silk with hand-knotted fringe. The cashmere offers warmth, while the silk adds strength and a light sheen to the fabric. An excellent accessory for any season, its generous size makes it extremely versatile. This Pashmina is perfect for draping over the shoulders, used as a scarf or wrapped under a jacket to fight off winter's chill. Approximate size: 30W x 78L with 3.25 hand-knotted fringe. Less

The true pashmina is the wool from the neck and the underbelly of the 'Capra Hircus' goat that thrives only in Himalayan plateaus at 12000-14000 feet. The high altitude, the climate, the goat's special genetics together with the food they eat enable it to grow this unbelievably soft, light and silky wool called pashmina. Although it is new to the West, in India and Nepal it has appealed for generations. These are 80% cashmere pashmina shawls, blended with 20% silk for a special soft silky touch and longer life. Shawls come in original bag; with tags attached. The silk blended shawls are sized 76"x32" (190x80 cm) plus 3" (8 cm) fringes on both ends and have recently become more popular worldwide with their attractive look and design. Less

Less
